The temperature in the morning and evening has dropped, and it has become relatively easy to spend during the day. It seems the autumn season has come. So I would like you to enjoy the "autumn" that is about to begin in earnest, and I would like to introduce Ryotanji Temple, which is a must-see spot for autumn leaves today.
Ryotanji, an ancient temple is a temple that is popular in local people and a temple of Naotora Ii. And another famous one is the Japanese garden. As you walk through the temple, a beautiful and quiet garden view spreads in front of you. It feels like time passes slowly when you sit and look at it. It's a healing space where you can relax and it's one of my favorite places.
It is a garden where you can enjoy its beauty not only in autumn but all year round, but the autumn leaves season is exceptional. In about another month, these green trees will gradually turn into beautiful crimson. I'm looking forward to the autumn leaves.
Currently, "Autumn Leaves Festival / Temple Treasure Exhibition" is being held at Ryotanji Temple. It is open to the public for a limited time (October 1st to December 10th) and you can enjoy to see a gold folding screen painting. Please check the website for precautions when visiting the venue, such as measures against coronavirus infection.
