The largest stalactite cavern in Tokai

Hello! This is Sachiko from the information desk.
I went to Ryugashido cavern which is the biggest cavern in the Tokai District yesterday.
The stalactites that have been created over a long period of time have various shapes. Many natural art objects are created by stalactites, which are said to grow about 1cm in 100 years. The shapes of stalactites are like an icicles or bamboo shoots, so you can enjoy watching them with your imagination.

Another special product is ice cream. Many bus guides in Shizuoka selected this gelato, especially "white cream" is highly recommended ☆

It will be nice to be able to see such a beautiful scenery even when it is rainy outside. So, Ryugashido cavern is a good place to visit in rainy season.
Please check the website for precaution regarding entrance, such as preventive measures against corona virus, and detailed information on Ryugashido cavern.
