Kasuisai temple has been holding the "Kasuisai Hinamatsuri" since 2015. The 1,200 dolls displayed on 32 steps, which are one of the largest exhibitions in Japan and are likely to reach the ceiling, are spectacular in the hall of the Zuiryukaku.
During the period, you can enjoy various exhibits related to the Hinamatsuri, such as sarubobo (a local amulet, red human-shaped dolls with no face), bamboo work, origami, and it is crowded with families.
Hina Matsuri dolls festival is being held from January 1st (New Year's Day) to March 31st. From 8AM to 5PM in Zuiryukaku at Kasuisai temple in Fukuroi. Admission fee / 500 yen <Free for elementary school students and younger>
(Admission fee includes indoor peony garden and visits various halls)
