Bentenjima Sunset Torii

 

One of the famous landmarks in Hamamatsu is an 18m Red Torii in Bentenjima, Nishi ward. It is located just a short walk from Bentenjima station.  

An extraordinary view only in the winter, the Sunset into Torii. So many people, including several professional photographers, gathered to capture this breathtaking view.  

The temperature can get really cold because of the strong sea breeze, please prepare a thick jacket and stay warm. 

If you come by car, you can park your car at the Bentenjima Seaside Park parking lot. The fee for a one-time park is 410 yen. 

The best spot to take the Sunset Torii photo is behind the public restroom on the east side of Bentenjima Seaside park.
