Sweets Bank Hamamatsu

Today I would like to introduce to you a new place in town where you can relax drinking coffee and enjoying delicious sweets, also running your bank errands.
On April 12th, 2021, a confectionery maker Shunkado held an opening ceremony for the "Sweets Bank," a complex facility with headquarters functions, stores, and cafes, in Kanda-cho, Naka-ku, Hamamatsu City.
With a unique appearance designed of giant chairs, tables, and shopping bags, which is a symbol of family unity surround the table.

The furniture on the exterior of the building is about 13 times larger than the actual one, and pots and cup objects are placed inside the room. It is also expected to be a new tourist spot that "Instagram-able".

The Shunkando company's President Takahiro Yamazaki said, "I want to liven up the area in the new facility. I want to bring smiles through sweets."

Hamamatsu confectionery store collaborates with a local credit union bank to create a complex of miniature dining sweets.

When you go under the huge desk, you will be greeted by the freshly baked scent and colorful sweets and gifts.

A cafe and bakery directly managed by Shunkado.

Brioche bread, "Toranda", is baked every day at 11:30 and 13:30

* Numbered tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before baking.

* The number is limited. Also, the time is subject to change.

They also have sweets bank limited products that cannot be purchased at other Shunkado shops.

The "Hamamatsu Iwata Credit Bank Morita Branch" in the south wing is decorated with unique monuments in the shape of newspapers and piggy banks, creating a friendly store design.

The attached "meeting room Tsunogatatsu" is a rental conference room (email: tsunogatatsu@sweetsbank.jp) equipped with remote work equipment, aiming to be a community space where local people come and go. It can be used when you want to hold a seminar or workshop as a place for interaction.

Even the toilet is well designed too.

Although it was less than a month opened, it was crowded with visitors and many people enjoyed taking photos with the big size decorations put up in various parts of the facility.

The design of the buildings and monuments is interesting, and I'm happy because I can eat sweets made with local ingredients.

So I recommend you to actually see it and experience it. You will feel like Alice in Wonderland.

Please enjoy delicious memories that can only be experienced here, while maintaining social distancing and always wear a mask.
