Akino Fuku Museum and Futamata River

The special exhibition "Japanese painting of flowers and greenery" at Fuku Akino Museum is open until August 23rd. On the way back, you can also enjoy playing in the nearby Futamatagawa.

The Akino Fuku Museum of Art has reopened after renovation work. Visitors are required to wear face masks and disinfect alcohol at the entrance. Inside the jurisdiction, visitors take off their shoes, but slippers are also properly disinfected. Because of their ingenuity, visitors don't have to worried about confusing slippers with other users.

It's hard to go far away now, but new works by Japanese masters are collected at this museum designed by Terunobu Fujimori, which appears in a lush forest. You can spend a rich time with the works arranged luxuriously in the warm and natural atmosphere of the cement plaster daub.

"Flower and Green Japanese Painting Exhibition"

In 1990, the "Flower and Greenery Museum of Japanese Painting" was exhibited at the International Flower and Greenery Expo held in  Osaka. With the theme of flowers and greenery, the new works of

50 masters of Japanese painting were collected at that time. It became a hot topic. This exhibition introduces 46 of the works held by the Sato Museum of Art. One of the works by Fuku Akino, who was active at that time, is also included in this. In addition, we will also introduce 8 works of Fuku Akino (collection of this museum) that are related to this theme. Reconfirming the greatness of nature's life symbolized by flowers and greenery and the hearts of loving them, we hope that it will lead to the theme of the Expo, "the creation of a welcoming 21st century where people and nature are in harmony" Is what you do.
