The annual local fabric & dyeing workshop I attended was one of the best workshops ever.
I was able to experience Hamamatsu Chusen, the over 100-year old local traditional dyeing technique, in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture to make my own Japanese traditional handtowel. This technique has also been used for making the well known yukata, Japanese traditional summer wear.
Hamamatsu is famous for No.1 orders of yukata handling in Japan. It's really worth for taking a trip to come experience the beautiful dyeing technique♡
